Campuses
Not sure where to start?
Bitwise is more than a single building or a location. It’s a movement rapidly growing across the United States, connecting technology companies with the future tech workforce, empowering communities by building digital infrastructure, and upskilling populations left out of economic mobility. Every city we call home is part of that vision, and each community is vital to that mission.
The southern end of the San Joaquin Valley is home to Bakersfield—a hub for both agriculture and energy production, nested in the most productive oil-producing county in California. Beyond these traditional economies is also a growing technology industry, which Bitwise is proud to partner with and help advance. Opened in 2021, Bitwise Bakersfield’s campus spans two distinct buildings in the downtown district and is a dedicated space for technology, education, and opportunity.
In the southern region of the United states lies El Paso, Texas. Located on the Rio Grande river across from the Mexico-United States border, El Paso is the second-largest-majority-Hispanic city in the U.S. Bitwise Industries joins a quickly growing local economy focused on international trade, government/civil service, and now technology. More information about location and opening dates for Bitwise El Paso will be announced soon, so be sure to stay tuned!
The city where it all started. The fifth largest city in California, Fresno is where Bitwise Industries first opened its doors in 2013. From humble beginnings in the ‘mural district’, to the first dedicated building at Bitwise South Stadium, our history and current headquarters finds its home in the geographic center of the beautiful San Joaquin Valley. The Bitwise Fresno campus spreads across three historic buildings in the downtown district, with a fourth opening soon in 2022.
Known as the “Gateway to Yosemite” and named after the iconic river which flows from the Sierra Nevadas into the San Joaquin Valley, Merced is an up-and-coming city with historic roots. Home to the newest University of California campus, each year students from all over the world travel to Merced for their education. Announced in 2019, the Bitwise Merced campus will be located conveniently downtown, across from the iconic El Capitan Hotel when construction finishes in 2022.
Just east of the San Francisco Bay lies Oakland—home to the busiest port in Northern California and a thriving automobile manufacturing industry. Oakland is just north of Silicon Valley, known as the global center for high tech and innovation. The Bitwise Oakland campus is built for the Oakland community, bringing our trademark affordable and accessible coding courses to a new population while working alongside local businesses to enrich the lives of those who call Oakland home. Located in the historic downtown district, Bitwise Oakland is slated to open in 2022.
Announced in 2021, Bitwise Toledo is the first of our campuses to expand beyond our home state of California. A major Midwestern port city, Toledo is known as “The Glass City” for its rich history of glass manufacturing, as well as their auto assembly industry and distinctive growing art community. Bitwise Toledo will be located in a gorgeous 100,000-square-foot building in historic downtown Toledo.
